We are looking for staff who will support the emotional, physical, mental and social development of each child and youth in order for them to reach their full potential and encourage their independence and achievement.

Requirements:

- A Community College diploma in the Developmental Service worker, Social Service, Child and Youth Worker or related field is require OR are currently enrolled in school for one of these programs.
- Broad Record Police Check
- Current immunization record
- First Aid and CPR certification.

Salary and Benefits

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Starting Salary: $23.00 /hour

Hours: 8-20 per week

Training Opportunities

- Phippen House has a Crisis Prevention Intervention trainer on staff to provide training for all new hires and refreshers every two years.
- Opportunity for additional training in areas such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing and managing behaviors
- Employees are paid for their time during training and all courses and materials are provided free of charge.




- Once every 3 years Phippen House will do CPR and First Aid at the home.

Hours:

- Most hours are evenings and weekends.
- No mandatory shift coverage if someone calls in sick
