Morson Edge is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join an cutting-edge team developing advanced electronic systems for naval and defence applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test electronic hardware and firmware systems.
Work with low-noise preamplifiers, high-speed digital telemetry, DSP, and RF technologies.
Develop and review schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation.
Support system upgrades, troubleshooting, and design verification.
Participate in technical reviews and mentor junior engineers.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and customers.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
4+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Strong background in analog/digital circuit design and embedded systems.
Experience with DSP, FPGA/VHDL, ARM microcontrollers, and PCB design is an asset.
Familiarity with OrCAD, C programming, SPI, I2C, and UART preferred.
Maritime, defence, or underwater warfare experience is an asset.
Must be eligible for Canadian Controlled Goods, US ITAR requirements, and NATO Reliability/Secret security clearance.
