Overview
We are seeking a matured friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Prior restaurant or food industry experience required. The Server plays a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while maintaining high standards of hospitality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Handle POS transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with health regulations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables simultaneously without compromising quality of service




- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements

- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines diligently
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food industry standards, food safety practices, and restaurant operations is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

We are a fine dining restaurant located in Forest Hill (St.Clair & Avenue road) serving a diverse community with an elevated menu. We are looking for a mature experienced reliable individual with a positive friendly attitude and smart serve certified to join our team. We are only accepting applicants IN PERSON (no phone/email). Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
