RJ Kent is a 54-unit Independent Living Senior Residence located in downtown Port Coquitlam. Our building is staffed 24 hours a day and is conveniently located on a major bus route. RJ Kent is proudly operated by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 133.

We are currently seeking a reliable, hardworking, and conscientious individual to join our team in a Temporary Part-Time Janitorial position. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming setting and be dependable and attentive to detail.

Position: Temporary Part-Time (with the possibility of ongoing casual shifts)

Schedule:

- Saturdays and Sundays
- 11:30Pm- 7:00Am

This is a temporary position to provide coverage during a staff member's leave of absence. The duration of the position will depend on staffing needs, with the possibility of additional casual shifts in the future.

Responsibilities include:

- Sweeping and mopping floors




- Cleaning and sanitizing washrooms
- Operating a commercial dishwasher
- Washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room, kitchen, and common areas
- Completing other cleaning and housekeeping duties as required

Requirements:

- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Satisfactory criminal record check
- Ability to work scheduled shifts and provide additional coverage when needed
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Friendly and respectful attitude when interacting with seniors
