Automotive Apprentice – Level 2 or 3 / Experienced Automotive Helper

Freeway Motors is looking for a reliable, motivated automotive apprentice to join our growing shop. We welcome Level 2 and Level 3 apprentices, as well as candidates with practical automotive experience who want to begin a formal 310S apprenticeship.
For the right candidate, we are willing to sponsor your apprenticeship and help you register. You will receive hands-on training and guidance from a licensed 310S technician to develop your skills and work toward becoming a licensed automotive service technician.
Job Duties
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and scheduled maintenance.
- Mount, balance, rotate, and change tires.
- Inspect and service brakes under appropriate supervision.
- Assist with suspension, steering, exhaust, and cooling system repairs.
- Test batteries and assist with starting and charging system checks.
- Use scan tools and assist with diagnosing vehicle problems.
- Report inspection findings and record work completed.
- Follow instructions and shop safety procedures.
- Keep your work area clean and tools organized.
- Handle customers’ vehicles with care.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 2 or Level 3 automotive apprentices preferred.
- Candidates with relevant hands-on experience who are not yet registered are also encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repairs.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Valid driver’s licence.
