- Equipment Operator / Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

As a key member of our operations team, you will help ensure our production equipment runs safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role combines equipment operation with hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will:

· Operate production equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards

· Complete equipment start-ups, changeovers, adjustments, and quality checks

· Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues

· Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs

· Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and parts inventory information

· Support production staff and contribute to a safe and efficient workplace

· Participate in continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives

· Standing for extended periods

· Lifting up to 50 lbs

Technical Qualifications

· Technical diploma or certificate in Industrial Mechanic,



Electrical - Industrial Maintenance and Controls Diploma, or equivalent combinations of education and experience

· 2+ years of experience in equipment operation, manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or a related field

· Experience working with motors, conveyors, sensors, pneumatics, or packaging equipment

· Ability to read technical manuals and schematics

· Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

Preferred Qualifications

· Red Seal Millwright certification

· Forklift certification (we are willing to provide training)

- Working around operating equipment
