Overview

The Server/Bartender provides attentive hospitality by serving food and beverages, supporting smooth service, and helping guests enjoy a welcoming dining experience. This role combines serving and bartending duties with accurate order entry, payment handling, and coordination with restaurant colleagues.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests, answer menu questions, take orders, and provide friendly, timely customer service throughout their visit.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks where applicable, while following food safety and food-handling practices.
- Enter orders and payments using POS systems, including Micros POS when used, and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service colleagues, manage competing tasks, and keep service areas clean and organized.

Experience

Required: Practical customer service, time management, basic math, and cash-handling skills support accurate orders, payments, and responsive service. Preferred: Restaurant, food industry, or food service experience; serving, bartending, cashiering, hospitality, food safety, food handling, and familiarity with POS or Micros POS are valuable strengths.

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 40.0 per week
