Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our energetic healthcare team. Duties

- Deliver comprehensive patient care in various settings such as nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and home care environments.
- Administer medications accurately and safely, including injections and IV therapies, following established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess health status regularly to identify changes requiring intervention.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and nutrition management.
- Conduct specialized care for patients with dementia or experiencing hospice needs, ensuring dignity and comfort.




- Perform phlebotomy procedures for blood collection and support laboratory testing processes.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner to document patient information meticulously and maintain accurate medical records.

Requirements

- Valid registration as a Practical Nurse with the appropriate licensing body.
- Proven experience in nursing home settings, hospital environments, or home care services.
- Knowledge of acute care practices, dementia care strategies, and senior or hospice care protocols.
- Experience working with pediatric populations and providing pediatric nursing services is highly desirable.
- Skills in medication administration, pain management, case management, and medical terminology are essential.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner is preferred.
- Ability to perform laboratory procedures like phlebotomy and laboratory testing support.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care.

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
