Job Summary

The General Carpenter builds, installs, repairs, and finishes structures and components across varied projects. The role combines carpentry, woodworking, and practical construction skills to deliver accurate, durable work from plans through final details.

Responsibilities

- Read blueprints and schematics, measure work areas, estimate materials, and assemble components using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, drywall, cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing, and siding as project needs require.
- Support restoration, construction painting, caulking, and general assembly; coordinate related plumbing or electrical work with appropriate trades.
- Handle materials safely, including heavy lifting, and maintain organized work areas. Your impact: dependable,

Qualifications

Required: Practical carpentry and woodworking capabilities, blueprint reading, and protected use of hand and power tools support accurate construction, installation, and repair. Preferred: Construction experience, handyman experience, and familiarity with concrete forming, drywall, restoration, cabinets, painting, CNC, masonry, flooring, tile, estimating, rebar, manufacturing, roofing, caulking, schematics, siding, assembly, plumbing, or electrical work are valuable strengths.

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
