The Furniture Guys builds office furniture, kitchens and custom millwork in our own shop at 22 Arrow Rd (Finch & Weston). We're looking for an operator to run our SCM CNC router (Maestro) and our edgebander.

What you'll do:

- Load and run CNC programs from our cut lists (nested sheets: melamine, MDF)

- Run the edgebander and keep parts moving to assembly

- Check parts for size and quality; label and stack them by job

- Daily machine cleaning and basic maintenance

- Report your progress on our shop app (phone)

What we're looking for:

- Experience running a CNC router or an edgebander - we'll train you on the other

- Can read a cut list and measure accurately (mm and inches)

- Reliable, on time, careful with the details

- Nice to have: SCM, Biesse or Homag; Maestro or nesting software; kitchen or office furniture shop experience





Pay: $24/hr, going to $26/hr after 3 months.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Location: 22 Arrow Rd, North York (Finch & Weston).

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M9M 2L7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
