Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual (Chinese-speaking) Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) / Front Desk Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine patient care with administrative support in a vibrant clinical workplace. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while assisting our physiotherapists with patient management and clinical tasks.

Duties

- Assist physiotherapists with patient care and treatment setup as a PTA.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
- Greet patients, answer phone calls, schedule appointments and manage front-desk duties.
- Manage patient appointments, documentation and payments using Jane App.
- Handle Extended Health Care (EHC) billing/direct billing and MVA billing.
- Assist with insurance forms, invoices and other clinic administrative duties.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service to patients.

Schedule

- Tuesday & Thursday:



Evening availability required
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Additional hours/schedule can be discussed during the interview.

Requirements

- Fluent in both Chinese and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages
- Previous experience as a PTA and/or medical/physiotherapy clinic receptionist preferred.
- Must be well versed with Jane App.
- Experience with EHC/direct insurance billing and MVA billing is strongly preferred.
- Chinese-speaking ability is required.
- Strong communication, organization and multitasking skills.
- Reliable and comfortable working in a busy multidisciplinary clinic.
- Relevant certifications or training as a Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) or similar healthcare support role is preferred

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 20.0 per week
