About Brand Electric

Brand Electric is a growing electrical contractor serving the Quinte region and surrounding areas. Our work includes commercial, industrial, institutional, multi-residential, and custom construction projects.

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Licensed 309A Electrician to join our team full-time. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently when required, and is comfortable working as part of a crew on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities

- Perform commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential electrical installations
- Install and terminate electrical panels, feeders, branch circuits, lighting, devices, and equipment
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Complete conduit installations including EMT, PVC, and other wiring methods
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Coordinate work with apprentices, other trades, site supervisors, and project management
- Ensure installations meet the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards
- Help guide and supervise apprentices when required
- Follow all company and site-specific health and safety requirements

Qualifications

- Valid Ontario 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician Licence
- Valid driver's licence
- Strong understanding of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
- Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications
- Experience with commercial and/or industrial electrical construction preferred




- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems independently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
- Comfortable working from ladders, lifts, and at heights where required
- Own basic hand tools appropriate for the trade

Compensation

$35.00–$42.00 per hour, depending on experience and capabilities.

Higher compensation may be considered for candidates with strong commercial/industrial experience, supervisory capabilities, or the ability to independently run projects and crews.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is more than simply licensed. The ideal candidate can be given a set of drawings and a scope of work, understand what needs to be completed, communicate issues early, and take ownership of their portion of the project.

Experience leading apprentices or small crews is considered an asset.
