Accountant

Phillips Bros Excavating, a family owned and operated company, has been proudly serving the construction industry for over 30 years. We are currently seeking an individual to fill the role of Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements on time
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Comply with financial policies and regulations

Requirements:

- Undergraduate degree in business or accounting or equivalent experience
- Work experience as an Accountant
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks accounting software
- Robust sense of urgency and detail-oriented,



with a focus on delivering high quality work
- Motivated to continually ensure integrity and improve financial reporting
