The Caregiver in St Albert area supports individuals with daily care and household routines, helping them maintain comfort, dignity, and as much independence as possible. This role combines attentive personal support with practical assistance tailored to each person’s needs.
Duties
- Provide patient care and senior care, including respectful support for individuals with disabilities and people living with dementia.
- Assist with home care routines, meal preparation, cleaning, and safe movement, including heavy lifting when needed.
- Support medication administration according to established care plans and communicate relevant observations to the care team.
- Your impact: Consistent, compassionate support helps individuals feel safer and enables colleagues to coordinate care effectively.
Skills
Required:
Practical caregiving skills, patience, clear communication, and the ability to assist with daily routines, meals, household tasks, and safe mobility. Careful attention to care plans and observations supports dependable patient care and medication assistance.
Preferred: Assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, dementia care, or home care experience; familiarity with nursing practices and senior care is an asset. Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is also valued.
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
