Job Description

Right at Home is seeking experienced, compassionate Casual Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our team and provide ADL-focused care to clients in the Quinte Area, Brighton, Prince Edward County and Napanee area.

This role is ideal for caregivers who are confident supporting clients with personal care and daily living activities while maintaining dignity, safety, and independence. You will play a key role in helping clients remain comfortably and safely in their homes.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene
- Support safe transfers, repositioning,



and mobility using proper body mechanics
- Assist with continence care and incontinence management
- Encourage client independence while providing appropriate physical assistance
- Support feeding and hydration, including meal setup and assistance as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support during care activities
- Monitor and report changes in client condition or behaviour
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful care environment
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care (laundry, dishes, tidying)
- Communicate clearly with clients, families, and care coordinators

Requirements

- Certified PSW or Internationally Educated Nurse
- Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification
- TB test result within the past 12 months
- Driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle
- Must reside in or near the Quinte area
