Job Overview

The Flooring Installer Helper supports flooring projects by preparing work areas, organizing materials, and assisting installer with hands-on tasks. This practical role suits someone who enjoys active work, follows instructions carefully, and takes pride in helping create clean, well-finished spaces. You’ll work alongside the owner/installer and contribute to clean, proper progress from preparation of install through to cleanup.

Duties

- Prepare installation areas by moving materials, clearing surfaces, and keeping tools and supplies organized.
- Assist with flooring installation by positioning materials,



and supporting installer as directed.
- Use hand tools for assigned tasks, and help with preparation of subfloor, removal of materials, moving tools into and out of houses.
- Keep the work area tidy and communicate progress or concerns.

Experience

Required: Practical ability to use hand tools, follow directions, and work carefully around materials and in client homes. Must have driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 45.0 per week
