Job Overview

The Electrician installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs electrical systems across varied work settings. This hands-on role involves interpreting technical information, selecting appropriate tools, and completing work carefully and efficiently. You’ll coordinate with colleagues to support secure, reliable project progress and dependable electrical service.

Responsibilities

- Read blueprints and schematics to understand layouts, identify components, and plan installation or repair work.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment and wiring, including low-voltage systems and programmable logic controllers where applicable.
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete construction, renovation, and repair tasks; inspect work and document issues for follow-up.
- Coordinate work and communicate findings so colleagues can plan next steps and keep projects moving.

Experience

Required: Practical electrical experience, blueprint and schematic reading, and the ability to use hand tools and power tools for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Low-voltage work and familiarity with programmable logic controllers support varied assignments. Preferred: Industrial electrician experience, construction or renovation experience, and handyman experience that demonstrates adaptable repair skills and sound judgment across different work settings.

Pay: $26.82-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
