Minuteman Press Oakville is seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Production Supervisor to join our team. You'll report directly to the Production Supervisor and play a crucial part in maintaining both efficiency and our high standards for safety and quality.

What You'll Be Doing: Key Responsibilities

- Operational Oversight: Assist the Production Supervisor in managing daily manufacturing activities, ensuring efficient flow and adherence to strict quality protocols.
- Workflow Management: Coordinate and guide production team members to manage priorities effectively, ensuring all jobs are produced and delivered to meet deadlines.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet the rigorous quality standards expected by Minuteman Press and our customers.
- Equipment Maintenance:



Conduct and oversee regular inspections and basic maintenance of equipment and machinery to guarantee optimal functionality and minimal downtime.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with management to identify and implement continuous process improvements and proactively resolve operational issues.

What You'll Bring: Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership potential combined with specialized technical expertise in modern printing processes:

- Digital Press Proficiency: Proven, hands-on experience running and troubleshooting a digital press.
- Fiery Expertise: Good working knowledge of Fiery print servers, including job management, color calibration, and workflow optimization.
- Graphic Design Software: A solid understanding and working knowledge of the Adobe Graphic Suite (e.g., Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) as it relates to pre-press checks and file preparation.
- Operational Mindset: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage complex workflows in a cooperative setting.
- Safety Focus: Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment for the entire team.
