Job Summary

Electricians install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems in buildings and other facilities. The role involves interpreting technical information, selecting appropriate tools, and completing work carefully and efficiently. Electricians coordinate with colleagues to keep projects moving and help ensure systems operate reliably.

Responsibilities

- Read blueprints and schematics to plan installations, repairs, and renovations.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, equipment, and low-voltage systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete construction, maintenance, and repair tasks.
- Test completed work, identify faults, and communicate findings and next steps to colleagues.

Skills

Required: Practical electrical experience, blueprint and schematic reading, and confident use of hand and power tools support safe, accurate installation and troubleshooting. Low-voltage knowledge is useful for wide-ranging electrical tasks. Preferred: Industrial electrician experience, construction or renovation experience, programmable logic controller familiarity, and handyman experience can strengthen your ability to adapt to different sites, equipment, and repair needs.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 44.0 per week
