Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant with strong operational accounting experience to support our corporate accounting function and help ensure accurate, timely reporting as we scale. This role is ideal for an organized, self-driven professional who enjoys ownership, continuous improvement, and collaborating with different parts of the finance team.

You’ll play a key role in strengthening processes and supporting business growth in Canada, US, Australia and expansion plans in Europe. This role has a clear opportunity to progress toward a Managerial position within our group of companies.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Full cycle monthly accounting for corporate entities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, etc.
- Review and file GST / PST / QST returns and related government remittance
- Work closely with AP and AR cycle processing
- Responsible of intercompany transactions
- Bank Reconciliations
- Produce financial statements and accounting report with accuracy
- Prepare and review month-end and year-end closings




- Communicate with clients and CRA as required
- Participate in various financial projects as needed

What You Bring:

- Senior Accountant: 5 years (required)
- Experience leading and supporting an accounting team
- Ability to prioritize assignments, manage multiple deadlines
- Attention to detail and the ability to analyze and manipulate large amounts of data
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, accounting software and database
- Proven effective English written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in business (Accounting or Finance), or related area.

Preferred Requirements:

- Experience using NetSuite or other ERP is considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of CA GAAP. A solid knowledge of US GAAP is highly desirable

A plus+ if you have:

International accounting experience, including exposure to Australia and European accounting/tax requirements and reporting practices

Notes: Base salary will be commensurate with the candidate's years of experience, educational background, industry-relevant experience, and proven track record.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
