As a Farm Worker, Vegetable, you’ll support the day-to-day growing and care of vegetable crops, from field preparation through packing. This hands-on role combines horticulture, irrigation, equipment use, and routine maintenance in an active farm environment.
Responsibilities
- Apply the technique of hoeing between the row
- Clean the crops
- Cut agricultural crops
- Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
- Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.
- Greenhouse cleaning
- Hand harvesting vegetables

- Pack fruits and vegetables
- Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
- Sort fruits and vegetables
- Weeding
- Clean work area
- Fertilize and spray crops

Requirements
Required: Practical ability to perform hands-on farm tasks, handle heavy lifting, use hand and power tools, and apply basic math to measurements and counts.
Mechanical knowledge and attention to safe equipment use support daily duties.
