We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented candidate who is eager to learn and grow with our team in a part-time logistics support role, Monday through Friday from 4:00–8:00 p.m. This position supports shipment documentation, domestic deliveries, logistics operations, and billing. The ideal candidate provides excellent customer service, manages multiple priorities, keeps customers informed of shipment updates, and works closely with teammates and logistics partners to resolve issues.Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by coordinating with customers, carriers, and vendors; respond promptly to shipment inquiries by phone and email.
- Prepare arrival notices, shipment notifications, and reports; process and verify shipping documents and coordinate delivery dispatch.
- Issue customer bills, review and approve carrier invoices, and prepare debit and credit notes with agents and other offices.
- Track shipment status,
confirm cargo receipt and empty-container returns, and follow up on customer concerns and satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in customer service or international logistics.
- Computer proficiency, including strong Microsoft Excel skills and WMS.
- Ability to solve problems, manage priorities, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Type: Part time; Contract
- Monday to Friday, 4:00–8:00 p.m. EST
- 20 hours per week.
Experience
