We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Security Systems Technician to join our team in London, Ontario, working on TELUS SmartHome installations, upgrades, and sales opportunities.

This is a sales-focused contractor position, ideal for someone who has technical skills, enjoys interacting with customers, and can confidently recommend smart home security solutions and product upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

● Install and upgrade TELUS SmartHome security systems and equipment.

● Install alarm panels, security cameras, door/window sensors, smart locks, thermostats, and other smart home devices as assigned.

● Explain TELUS SmartHome products, features, and benefits to customers.

● Identify sales opportunities and recommend additional products, services, and upgrades.

● Deliver excellent customer service and maintain skilled customer relationships.





● Troubleshoot technical issues and complete installation documentation.

● Meet company quality standards and applicable performance expectations.

Requirements

● Experience in security systems, telecommunications, alarm installations, or a related technical field is an asset.

● Strong communication, customer service, and sales skills.

● Comfortable presenting products and discussing upgrades with customers.

● Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle.

● Must have your own tools and equipment required for the work.

● Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.

● Legally eligible to work in Canada and operate as an independent contractor.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
