Antipastos is seeking a friendly and reliable individual to join our team. This position requires weekday, and occasional weekend availability.
Experience working as a cashier in a grocery store workplace is an asset. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment is crucial. Flexible work hours, Ideal for work/life balance. Antipastos' business hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm , Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. pm. Closed on all Statutory holidays. This posting requires availability Thursdays, Afternoons and the Occasional Weekend.

Specific skills and duties include but are not limited to:

- Greet and answer customer inquiries
- Operate the cash register and POS system
- Complete all forms of payment transactions
- Bag customer groceries
- Stock of work area and other sections of the store
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures

Pay: $17.95-$18.25 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- St. Catharines, ON L2W 1A3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
