A well-established logistics and event services company is seeking an organized and customer-focused individual to support its customs brokerage and logistics operations. This role involves customer service, order processing, shipment coordination, and administrative support, along with hands-on assistance during trade shows and events.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide service information, and prepare shipping and logistics quotes.
- Process orders for customs, shipping, warehousing, and material handling services.
- Coordinate shipments with third-party carriers and warehouse partners.
- Prepare shipping documentation, manifests, and outbound shipment packages.
- Monitor incoming deliveries and verify shipment details.
- Assist customers with onsite shipping requests and outgoing freight arrangements.
- Review shipping paperwork, including Bills of Lading and handling agreements.
- Maintain spreadsheets, update records, process payments, and assist with invoicing.
- Complete post-event reporting and reconcile shipping documentation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, logistics,
transportation, or administration.
- Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace and assisting with hands-on operational duties.
