Job Summary

Educators Level 2 and 3 support children’s learning, care, and participation in an inclusive educational setting. They help create a welcoming, organized environment where children can engage, develop, and receive support suited to their needs.

Responsibilities

- Support teaching and early childhood education activities, adapting approaches for children with different abilities and learning needs.
- Provide attentive childcare, encourage positive participation, and support children with disabilities in daily classroom activities.
- Communicate with children, families, and colleagues in English or French as appropriate, and maintain clear written records.
- Organize classroom materials and routines, manage time effectively, and use computers for relevant classroom tasks.

Qualifications

.Preferred: Experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or in a classroom is valuable, as are early childhood education or special education knowledge, bilingual English-French communication, leadership, and robust writing skills.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
