Gym Floor Installer / Helper
Based in BC, with travel across Western Canada
Full time/Part-Time/Temporary

We’re looking for someone who wants to get into the trade and is ready to work.

This is hard, physical work — lifting, sanding, finishing, and being on your feet. It is also rewarding work. You help build and refinish maple gym floors (including game lines and artwork), synthetic floors, tracks, backstops, and divider curtains. At the end of a job, you can stand on a finished court and see what you built.

Experience is an asset but not required. If you’re reliable, willing to learn, and don’t mind hard work, we’ll teach you the rest.

What you’ll do:

- Help with maple hardwood and synthetic floor installation and refinishing
- Assist with sanding, finishing, game lines, and logos
- Work on basketball backstops, divider curtains, and related gym equipment
- Travel for jobs across Western Canada (BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and sometimes further)

What we’re looking for:

- Reliable and willing to work hard

- Comfortable with physical labour and being on your feet
- Ability to travel for multi-day or multi-week jobs
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record (asset)
- Experience in construction, flooring, or trades is a plus — not a must

What we offer:

- Hands-on training on real gym floors and sports systems
- Steady work with a small, experienced crew
- Prospect to learn a specialized trade
- Competitive pay based on experience and ability

If you want rewarding, honest work where you can see the results at the end of every job, send a short note about yourself and your availability.

How to apply:

Email with a bit about yourself, any relevant experience (or that you’re starting out), and when you can start. Please attach your resume.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 60.0 per week

Work Location: In person
