Event & Venue Operations Lead

We’re looking for a experienced friendly, motivated, and hands-on Event & Venue Operations Lead to help bring our events to life and oversee the day-to-day operations of our on-site venue and off-site catering services.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of what we do, working closely with clients, management, our kitchen and front-of-house teams, event staff, vendors, and service providers to create exceptional experiences from the first inquiry to the final goodbye.

You’ll also need to be flexible with your schedule, as this role includes daytime hours as well as some evenings and weekends.

You’ll Be Creating Great Guest Experiences

- Work with clients to bring their vision to life, helping plan menus, room layouts, event schedules, décor, entertainment, and special requests.
- Build positive, lasting relationships with clients and help encourage repeat business through excellent service.
- Coordinate and oversee on-site and off-site events, making sure everything comes together as planned.
- Create a welcoming, attractive, safe, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff.
- Stay one step ahead by anticipating challenges and finding practical, professional solutions.
- Make sure every guest enjoys a positive, memorable experience from beginning to end.

Leading Day-to-Day Operations

- Work closely with management to identify sales opportunities, support marketing efforts, and help grow the business.
- Collaborate with the kitchen, front-of-house team, clients, vendors, and service providers to coordinate events from the initial booking through to completion.
- Connect with the Head Chef to confirm event timelines, guest numbers, menus, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests.
- Hire, train, support, and coordinate a dedicated event team,



ensuring everyone feels prepared and understands the event details and expectations.
- Work with our kitchen team to develop creative menu ideas and event offerings.
- Help manage inventory, monitor costs, and find ways to keep operations running efficiently.
- Make sure each event is properly staffed, equipped, stocked, set up, and ready to go.
- Oversee event details throughout service, then coordinate breakdown, cleaning, and preparation for upcoming events.
- Help maintain compliance with all applicable health, safety, and regulatory requirements to keep our guests, staff, and vendors safe.

A Hands-On Role with Room to Make a Difference

This is an active, hands-on leadership position for someone with professional experience, who enjoys being involved in all aspects of events and hospitality. Working alongside management, you’ll have the chance to share ideas, contribute creatively, improve how we do things, and help the business continue to grow.

You’ll play an important role in making sure every event is thoughtfully planned, well staffed, properly equipped, and smoothly executed. Just as importantly, you’ll help create a positive experience for our clients and guests while supporting our team and maintaining the quality, safety, appearance, and reputation of our venue.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
