Homecare Nurse (Pitt Meadows, BC) - DO YOU LIVE NEAR PITT MEADOWS?

We are seeking 1-2 Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide custom Nursing care for a single client, daily for two hours. This role offers an opportunity for a local Nurse to deliver personalized patient care in a homecare setting, working with an award-winning organization that puts people first.

The ideal LPN candidate will be looking for 4 - 6 hours per week of ongoing short visits, and must be able to work 930 - 1130 am on at least 3 days every week, on an ongoing basis. This shift time is not flexible. KMs to/from your city of residence are paid.

Other casual nursing shifts we can book you for include casual 2-hour shifts to train our unlicensed care staff (Delegation of Task), wound care and head to toe assessments. These shifts are randomly located in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam Pitt Meadows Maple Ridge and Mission. All our current nursing visits are 2 hours long, so you would need to be agreeable to these 2-hour, standalone shifts. Mileage to and from the city centre nearest to you and the client is paid.

Duties:

· Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer

· Assess client needs and report back to Care Designer with recommendations

· Function within the limits of your scope of practice, experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description

· Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

Requirements

· Able to accept 6 - 10 hours of work weekly, in 2 hour shifts

. Current BC LPN license from BCCNM, RN's will also be welcomed

· Double COVID Vaccination required

· TB test within past 2 years

. Criminal Record Check

· Current First Aid and CPR certificate

· Excellent written and verbal skills in English

· Technically savvy with mobile apps and G-suite

· Previous home care nursing experience is an asset.

· 2 Skilled References

Pay: $37.00-$40.00 per hour
