The Heart & Crown is a bustling Irish pub in the heart of the market that has a very busy night life as well as a solid lunch hour due to its tourist centric location.

We are seeking a reliable dishwasher to join our team at our pub in Byward Market. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will be a team player, have a robust work ethic, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Organize and store clean dishes and utensils
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area at all times
- Empty trash and recycling bins regularly
- Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow

Requirements:

- Previous experience working as a dishwasher preferred,



but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to take direction
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
