Location: Greater Toronto Area, ON

We’re looking for a confident, people-focused Retail Store Leader to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-facing environment, enjoys developing people, and takes pride in building a strong, results-driven store.

You’ll spend a significant amount of time on the sales floor, working alongside the team, supporting customers, coaching employees, and ensuring the store operates smoothly. You’ll also have the opportunity to take ownership of the business when senior leadership is away.

If you’re an experienced retail leader who enjoys creating great customer experiences while building an engaged and accountable team, we’d like to hear from you.

The Opportunity

In this role, you’ll help oversee the day-to-day success of the store while partnering with senior leadership on business priorities and long-term goals.

You’ll be responsible for creating a productive and welcoming environment, keeping the team focused on sales and service, and ensuring operational standards are consistently maintained.

This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who is ready to broaden their retail management experience and have a direct impact on both people and performance.

Key Areas of Responsibility

- Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to the retail team.
- Coach employees regularly and help them build the skills needed to succeed.
- Set clear expectations around customer service, sales performance, teamwork, and accountability.
- Remain actively involved on the sales floor and lead by example.
- Help the team meet sales objectives and other store performance targets.
- Ensure customers receive knowledgeable, attentive, and personalized service.
- Maintain a professional, organized,

and visually appealing store environment.
- Support hiring activities, including interviews, onboarding, training, and employee development.
- Assist with employee scheduling, staffing requirements, payroll, and related administrative duties.
- Partner with senior store leadership to execute sales plans, operational priorities, and company initiatives.
- Step into a leadership role and assume responsibility for the store when senior leadership is unavailable.
- Monitor store operations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
- Help control operating expenses and maintain appropriate business practices.
- Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and positive workplace culture.
- Address customer or employee concerns professionally and effectively.
- Support inventory management, loss-prevention practices, and compliance with company standards.
- Help organize and participate in store events and initiatives that strengthen customer and community relationships.
- Manage competing priorities effectively in a busy retail environment.
- Take ownership of special projects and other duties as needed.

The Person We’re Looking For

You’ll bring a combination of retail experience, leadership ability, business awareness, and a genuine interest in helping people succeed.

Ideally, you have:

- 1–3 years of experience in retail management or a comparable leadership position.
- Demonstrated experience coaching, motivating, and developing employees.

- The confidence to make decisions, solve problems, and take responsibility for outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- A customer-first approach and strong relationship-building abilities.
- A demonstrated interest in sales, store performance, and achieving business objectives.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Flexibility and resilience in a fast-moving retail environment.
- The ability to respond calmly and professionally to challenging situations.
- A leadership style that is approachable, consistent, and accountable.
- Experience with scheduling, staffing, inventory, loss prevention, and general store operations is considered an asset.
- A degree or diploma in business or a related field is an asset, but not a requirement.

Why Join Us?

We’re continuing to grow, and this is an opportunity to become an important part of that growth. You’ll have the chance to work closely with an experienced leadership team, develop your management capabilities, influence store performance, and help shape a robust team culture.
