Physiotherapist

Nostos Chiropractic & Wellness Centre is a multi modal health clinic, and we want to expand our offerings by adding a physiotherapist to our team!

Who are we? Nostos is an energetic, eager-to-serve-our-community team. We're dedicated to providing stellar service to our patients.

At the moment, our team is made up of chiropractors, RMT's, a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, and our in-office movement specialist (who offers strength training and assisted stretching). We are looking for someone to complement and expand our team and offerings.

Contractorship Role:

This is an opportunity for an eager physiotherapist who wants control over their practice, their pricing and clinical hours, and someone who thrives in a collaborative environment. This opportunity is perfect for someone excited to grow (our relocate) their practice and is looking for an opportunity in a supportive environment.

Duties:
- Assess and diagnose patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement treatment plans using various techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy, and any other services within your scope
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients on proper techniques for home-care, rehabilitation and injury prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Attend a weekly team meeting

Skills:




- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
- Proficient in assessing and diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions
- Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Asset skill sets: dry needling, pelvic floor physiotherapy, work with kids/babies

Hours:
- We can offer a flexible schedule, and hours will be determined based on your preference.

Pay: $50.00-$90.00 per hour
