Transit Division,

Position: Site Manager Transit Division

Job Duties:

Site Manager is responsible for the daily operations in relation to servicing and cleaning Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) commuter buses in a unionized environment

Responsible for all Fnyx Group workers at the TTC Garage Site, assigns work schedules, supervises the assigned activities and administers the progressive discipline system; ·

Prepare various reports, service reports, and perform daily quality audits of the assigned fleet ·

Directly Communicates with the Client staff and provides recommendations, feedback to client, site personnel towards servicing issues or quality deficiencies; ·

Identifies and Reports conditions that require corrective action and follow up to ensure completion

Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.

Coordinate, and enforce Fnyx Group/TTC policies, procedures, and productivity standards

Must Attend Various Mandatory Training and Management Meetings as Required

Organize and Monitor TBM Worker’s Schedules:

Manage and ensure adherence to budget constraints, initiating corrective actions;

Ensure adherence to all Health and Safety best practices and maintain safety program and implement as required

Conduct daily tailgate meetings, JHSC safety meetings and safety talks as required;

Participate and be an active member of JHSC and must attend all meetings

Perform other duties as required or assigned by Senior Management;

Skills, Qualifications and Competencies





2-5 years of progressive experience pertaining to transit or transportation maintenance garage environment and /or related infrastructure planning, programming.

Must have or be able to obtain an A, B, or C Class License with the “Z” air brakes endorsement

Site Managers require robust communication, organization and people skills;

Ability to use office technology, Computer, software and applications for monitoring the work, communications and submitting various reports;

Conduct and document employee appraisals, discipline interviews and various injury, incident or accident investigations;

Manage and motivate workers at all levels or stages of assigned tasks;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

Must be an initiative-taker, with a commonsense approach to identify work that is required;

Excellent people skills with exceptional team building skills

Analytical, problem-solving skills without the fear of making decisions;

Must have stress management skills, time management skills and abilities;

Work experience in dealing with a unionized environment is considered an asset;

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Language Skills

Ability to speak, read and write English fluently and relay information between the team, clients and TTC/Fnyx Group office staff

Capable of using computer programs such as Microsoft office

Report to Director of Transit Operations & President, Transit & Safety Division

Reports Manpower totals and service output

Reports and maintain on site records of Health and Safety, discipline and HR issues

Files necessary reports to TTC Stakeholders on a nightly basis

Work Remotely: None - On Site Work Only

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Evening/Night Shifts

Additional pay:

Yearly Bonus Paid Quarterly – Based on Set KPI Criteria
