Simply Rooted Wellness is growing, and we’re looking for a Nurse Practitioner to help us expand into hormone and metabolic health.

We’re a boutique wellness clinic with an existing focus on gut health, paediatric care and personalized, whole-person treatment. As the practice continues to grow, we’re seeing a clear need to offer more support in areas such as hormone health, metabolic health and medically supervised care.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right NP to help build a new service from the ground up alongside a growing clinic, rather than stepping into a rigid, pre-defined role.

We’re looking for someone who is clinically solid, collaborative and excited by the idea of helping shape how this service develops over time.

The Role

The position will be primarily virtual and may include:

- patient assessments and consultations
- hormone and metabolic health care
- ordering and reviewing appropriate laboratory testing
- prescribing and monitoring medications where clinically indicated
- ongoing follow-up and treatment adjustments
- patient education and shared decision-making
- collaborating with Simply Rooted practitioners when appropriate
- helping shape and grow the NP-led side of the practice

There may also be opportunities to expand into areas such as medically supervised weight management or peptide-based therapies, depending on the practitioner’s interests, experience and scope.

What We’re Looking For

- Nurse Practitioner registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Licensed and insured to provide care to patients in Ontario
- Comfortable practising independently within NP scope
- Interest or experience in hormone health, metabolic health, women’s health or integrative care
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-informed care
- Warm, thoughtful and patient-centred communication style
- Collaborative and comfortable working alongside other practitioners




- Interested in helping build and grow a new area of care within the clinic

Experience is important, but overall fit, clinical approach and shared vision matter just as much.

The right practitioner will have the opportunity to help shape this service from an early stage, while benefiting from internal referrals, an existing patient community and clinic support as the offering grows.

Once the service is in place, Simply Rooted will also actively support its growth through clinic marketing, social media, patient education and community outreach.

Schedule

Part-time and remote, with flexible scheduling.

This role is intended to start gradually and grow alongside patient demand.

Compensation

This is an independent contractor position with a flexible compensation structure.

Compensation will be discussed based on experience, clinical focus, existing caseload and the level of clinic support provided.

We’re open to creating an arrangement that feels fair, sustainable and reflective of what each practitioner brings to the role.
