Job Summary

The Retail Sales Supervisor will be responsible for managing day-to-day store operations, handling customer sales, maintaining inventory, coordinating with suppliers, receiving shipments, and ensuring the store runs smoothly.

This is a hands-on position that requires someone who can independently manage store responsibilities, handle physical inventory tasks, coordinate deliveries, and provide excellent customer service. The position may also involve delivering grocery orders to customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations

- Oversee daily store operations during assigned shifts.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Handle cash register operations and customer transactions.
- Ensure shelves are properly stocked and merchandise is displayed.
- Handle day-to-day store operational requirements.
- Follow proper store opening, closing, and cash-handling procedures.

2. Sales & Customer Service

- Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases.
- Provide friendly and skilled customer service.
- Promote products and contribute to increasing store sales.
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally.
- Ensure products are properly priced and displayed.

3. Inventory & Stock Management

- Monitor inventory levels and identify products requiring replenishment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Monitor product expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Track fast-moving and low-stock products.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock control.
- Minimize product wastage and inventory discrepancies.

4. Supplier Coordination & Shipment Handling

- Communicate and coordinate with suppliers regarding product orders, availability, and deliveries.




- Follow up with suppliers regarding pending orders and shipments.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against invoices and delivery documents.
- Assist with loading and unloading grocery shipments.
- Organize, sort, and store incoming merchandise in appropriate locations.
- Check received products for quantities, damages, and expiry dates.
- Ensure shipments are processed and inventory is updated accurately.

5. Grocery Deliveries

- Deliver grocery orders to customers when required.
- Ensure orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
- Handle customer deliveries professionally and responsibly.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Previous experience in retail, grocery store operations, or sales is preferred.
- Valid driver's licence is mandatory.
- Must be comfortable driving for occasional grocery deliveries.
- Ability to lift, carry, load, and unload grocery shipments.
- Good communication skills for dealing with suppliers and customers (Hindi & English)
- Basic understanding of inventory management and stock control.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for store operations.
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced grocery retail environment.
- Knowledge of Indian grocery products is a must

- 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
- Weekend availability is mandatory.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, and willing to take ownership of daily store operations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling sales, inventory, supplier communications, shipments, physical stocking duties, and occasional customer deliveries.

Pay: From $16.40 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
