Job Description

Copperside Foods Ltd. is seeking a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our retail team as a Night Shift Retail Associate in Terrace, BC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while supporting the daily operations of the store during overnight hours. This position requires someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable working independently, and able to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle cash accurately.
- Operate the fuel console and assist customers with fuel purchases.
- Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and maintain organized product displays.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure products are properly stocked and rotated.
- Maintain store cleanliness, including counters, shelving, floors, and customer areas.
- Follow company procedures for cash handling, security, and loss prevention.
- Monitor store activity and follow established safety and security procedures.
- Complete assigned overnight tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Follow all company policies and applicable regulations regarding age-restricted products.
- Communicate operational concerns, customer issues,



and maintenance needs to management.
- Assist with other store duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills

- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to scheduled shifts.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Comfortable handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to remain professional and calm when handling challenging situations.
- Willingness to follow company safety and security procedures.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting merchandise.
- Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
