Overview

We are seeking a dependable and organized Medical Office Assistant to support daily operations in a patient-focused healthcare setting. This role helps create a welcoming experience for patients while keeping administrative workflows and records accurate and up to date.

Duties

- Welcome patients at the front desk, assist with check-in, and direct them to the appropriate staff or services.
- Answer and route calls using multi-line phone systems; respond to routine questions and relay messages.
- Schedule, confirm, and update appointments, and help maintain an orderly appointment calendar.
- Maintain electronic medical records, update patient information, and handle documentation with care and attention to confidentiality.
- Support general administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, data entry, and organizing office records.
- Use medical terminology appropriately when communicating with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Help coordinate office workflows and provide courteous,



professional service throughout the patient visit.

Requirements

- Robust communication, customer service, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Comfort using computers and learning electronic medical records systems; experience with Accuro is a plus.
- Previous medical office experience, office experience, or administrative experience is preferred.
- Front desk experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and protect confidential patient information.
- Professional, patient, and dependable approach when working with patients and colleagues.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.0 – 30.0 per week
