Job Summary

Front Counter Staff welcome customers, take orders, prepare and serve food, and keep the service area clean and organized. The role combines friendly customer service with accurate order entry, payment handling, and attention to food safety.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers, answer questions, enter orders accurately using the POS, and process payments and cash transactions.
- Prepare and serve food according to established food-handling, food-safety, and sanitation practices.
- Keep the counter and work areas clean, organized, and ready for service; coordinate with kitchen colleagues to support timely orders.
- Use basic math and time management to handle transactions, prioritize tasks, and suggest relevant menu items when appropriate.

Skills

Required:



Explicit customer service, basic math, accurate cashiering and cash handling, and practical food preparation, serving, food handling, food safety, and sanitation skills support daily duties. Time management and confident POS use help maintain smooth, accurate service. Your impact: Accurate orders and prompt coordination help customers receive their food smoothly. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, food industry, or kitchen experience; familiarity with Micros POS and upselling are helpful.

Pay: $18.25-$25.02 per hour
