Nova Staffing is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Order Picker to join a busy distribution centre team in Halifax, NS. This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced warehouse environment, works well as part of a team, and has strong attention to detail.
Shift Details
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Occasional evenings and weekends may be required based on operational needs
Job Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently pick, assemble, and prepare orders for shipment
- Meet productivity and accuracy targets
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and workplace policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse team members
- Follow written instructions and complete tasks accurately
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset, but not required – full training provided
- Pallet jack and forklift experience is an asset, but not required – full training provided
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Positive, self-motivated, and dependable
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Proven track record of reliability and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CSA-approved steel-toe footwear required
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
