Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic food service team. This role involves preparing and assisting with meal service in a quick-paced environment, ensuring high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and experience in food handling and preparation. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills while contributing to a welcoming guest experience.

Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating of meals according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Support the team during meal service, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Handle food safely in accordance with health regulations and company policies
- Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling as needed




- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries in the kitchen environment
- Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver excellent guest services

Experience

- Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar is a plus
- Previous hospitality or hotel experience, including barista or serving roles, can be beneficial
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $15.25-$20.00 per hour
