Maximum Dental is looking for a dependable, motivated Dental Assistant to join our team full-time. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on clinical work, values teamwork, and wants experience across a range of dental procedures.

About Maximum Dental

Maximum Dental is a team of multiple clinicians providing oral surgery, implant dentistry, endodontics, and sedation services at partner dental practices. Our model allows patients to receive treatment in a familiar setting while giving our team the opportunity to work across different offices.

As part of our assisting team, you’ll support different clinicians, collaborate with partner office teams, and play an important role in delivering organized, comfortable, patient-focused care.

Your role

- Provide chairside assistance for oral surgery, implant, endodontic, and sedation appointments.




- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, equipment, and materials according to each clinician’s needs.
- Coordinate setup and pack-down at partner practices.
- Follow infection prevention protocols and coordinate instrument processing with office teams.
- Support patients throughout their appointments and reinforce clinician-directed instructions.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Monitor supplies and prepare for upcoming clinical days.
- Communicate effectively with our clinicians, assisting team, and partner practices.

Who we’re looking for

Our ideal candidate has:

- Completed a recognized dental assisting program; Level II preferred.
- Previous dental assisting experience.
- Strong organization, communication, and time-management skills.
- A dependable work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Current CPR certification.
- Willingness and ability to travel between partner practices in the Ottawa area.
- Experience with oral surgery, implants, endodontics, or sedation is an asset.

Position: Full time
Location: Ottawa and surrounding area; work at partner dental practices
Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications
