Overview

As a Counter Helper, you’ll support smooth, welcoming food service by assisting with preparation, serving customers, and keeping the counter and work area clean and organized. You’ll help customers complete orders accurately and contribute to an efficient team environment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve food, following food-handling and food-safety practices.
- Take orders, operate POS systems, including Micros POS where applicable, and process payments with accurate cash handling.
- Answer customer questions, provide friendly service, and suggest relevant items through appropriate upselling.
- Maintain sanitation and an orderly counter or kitchen area; use time management and basic math to keep service moving.

Skills

Required: Practical food preparation,



protected food handling, sanitation, customer service, POS operation, cashiering, cash handling, basic math, and time management skills support accurate, efficient service. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, food industry, serving, or kitchen experience, familiarity with Micros POS, and confidence with math and appropriate upselling are helpful. Pay: From $17.60 per hour
