About the Role

MWS is seeking a dependable, organized, and safety-conscious Tool Crib Teammate to support our daily operations. Under the direction of the Tool Crib Supervisor, you will ensure the accurate and timely delivery of tools and equipment to the jobsite.

This role is also responsible for maintaining tools and equipment inventory, keeping the tool crib and yard organized, and assisting with deliveries and returns.

General

The ideal candidate is a hands-on team player who takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, can work independently with minimal supervision, and communicates effectively with coworkers, other departments, vendors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Pick, prepare, and stage tools and equipment orders for delivery, and securing loads to trailer.
- Receive, inspect, and store returned items in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain inventory completing tracking forms, and keeping accurate inventory records.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the tool crib, compound, and yard.
- Assist with the safe loading and unloading of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Safely operate a company pickup truck and trailer to deliver and pick up tools, equipment, and construction materials from job sites when required to do so.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
- Connect and disconnect trailers as required.
- Complete all required delivery documentation and inspection reports.
- Maintain professional communication with supervisors, office staff, customers, and site personnel.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and other departments.
- Support operational efficiency by recommending improvements to processes and procedures.
- Comply with all MWS Solutions Inc. (the "Company"), Health, Safety & Environment programs and policies

Qualifications

- Professional, reliable, and punctual, with excellent time management skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, other departments, vendors, and customers.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Valid Class G Driver's Licence.
- Clean driver's abstract and ability to meet all CVOR requirements.
- Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
- Ability to use GPS and other navigation tools to plan and complete deliveries efficiently.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, loading, and unloading equipment.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused.

Assets (Not Required)

The following qualifications are considered an asset but are not required:

- Forklift operator certification or previous experience operating a forklift.
- Experience in a related industry, such as equipment rental, construction, or the skilled trades.
