We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Casual Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Foot Care Specialty An Asset to join our team in a casual to part time capacity, providing foot care services, medication reconciliation and delivery, and nursing support to our clients.

Position Summary

The LPN will provide qualified, client-centered nursing care with a primary focus on foot care services, medication reconciliation and delivery.. This position is ideal for an LPN who has a flexible schedule. enjoys working independently, building relationships with clients, and providing high-quality care in a home-care environment.

The successful candidate will work 7.5 hours every Wednesday for medication reconciliation and delivery.

There is additional hours available for providing foot care services that can be negotiated and scheduled based on your flexibility and availability.

The approximate hours of work will be 20 hours per week with the potential for additional hours, based on organizational and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide professional and compassionate nursing care to clients in their homes as needed.
- Reconcile medications and MAR checks every Wednesday, including delivery of medications to clients' homes.
- Perform routine and preventative foot care within the Certified Footcare LPN's scope of practice.




- Complete client assessments and identify concerns requiring further assessment or referral.
- Maintain accurate and timely client documentation and clinical records.
- Follow established nursing standards, policies, procedures, and infection prevention and control practices.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, Pharmacy, and members of the care team.
- Identify and report changes in a client's condition or concerns requiring follow-up.
- Promote client dignity, independence, comfort, and overall well-being.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to all applicable privacy and professional standards.
- Work collaboratively with the Lifetime Home Solutions team to ensure consistent, high-quality client care.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) registration in Nova Scotia and in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification.
- LPN Foot Care certification is an asset, willingness to obtain (Company paid)
- Experience in home care, community care, long-term care, or a similar setting is an asset.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the care team.




- Compassionate, professional, and client-focused approach to care.
- A reliable and dependable vehicle is required.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical policies and procedures.
- Experience with AlayaCare is considered an asset.
