Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dental team in various clinical and administrative tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary materials.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed.




- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

- Previous Canadian experience as a Dental Assistant required.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Certification in Dental Assisting is preferred.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
