Neon Chapel & Mrs. Peachum's County Getaway

Location: Hybrid — Prince Edward County, Ontario
Hours: 25–30 hours per week, with potential to grow
Compensation: $35–$40/hour, depending on experience
Anticipated start: December 2026

We're not building another wedding venue. And we're not looking for another ordinary sales manager.

Neon Chapel is reimagining what getting married can look like. Think retro Vegas energy, unapologetic personality, exceptional hospitality, and weddings that feel like the people getting married.

No cookie-cutter timelines. No unnecessary traditions. Just really good celebrations.

Alongside Neon Chapel is Mrs. Peachum's County Getaway, our sister hospitality and entertainment brand, bringing private celebrations, curated experiences, supper clubs, and a little theatrical mischief to Prince Edward County.

Two distinctive brands. One shared creative vision. And some ambitious plans for what's next.

We're looking for an experienced Sales & Business Development Manager to take ownership of our commercial growth and help shape the next chapter.

This is a senior, hands-on position for someone who knows how to turn a compelling concept into a thriving business.

The opportunity

You'll work directly with our founders, taking the lead on sales, business development, and marketing execution across both brands.

Your primary focus will be growing wedding bookings for Neon Chapel, while developing profitable private events, corporate business, and strategic partnerships for Mrs. Peachum's.

We're looking for someone who can see the bigger picture, but also knows how to make things happen.

You'll have meaningful independence, ownership of your work, and the freedom to bring forward ideas and make everyday commercial decisions. You'll also have two engaged founders who will provide creative direction, industry knowledge, and support.

We're building a business together, not handing someone a never-ending to-do list.

What you'll lead

Sales & revenue growth

- Own the wedding and event sales journey, from initial inquiry through confirmed booking.
- Manage tours, consultations, proposals, follow-ups, contracts, and client relationships.
- Develop a consistent, proactive sales pipeline and identify new booking opportunities.
- Build relationships with planners, hospitality operators, tourism partners, corporate clients, and local businesses.
- Identify new markets and develop strategic partnerships that create measurable revenue.
- Track sales activity, conversions, revenue, and performance against agreed goals.

Marketing & brand growth

- Turn our brand direction into practical campaigns that generate qualified inquiries and bookings.
- Lead the marketing calendar across digital campaigns, email, social media, partnerships, and experiential activations.
- Work collaboratively with the founders on creative direction, messaging, promotions, and campaign priorities.
- Manage campaigns from concept through execution, using available creative and production support.
- Evaluate what's working, make adjustments, and focus marketing efforts on measurable results.

Hospitality & event leadership

- Coordinate the commercial and client-facing elements of weddings, private events, and selected in-house experiences.
- Lead venue tours, wedding open houses, and promotional activations.
- Liaise with vendors, performers, caterers, and other hospitality partners.
- Confidently oversee smaller events when required, with appropriate operational and staffing support.
- Help establish systems and processes that support exceptional guest experiences as the business grows.

Who we're looking for

You have substantial experience in hospitality sales, wedding and event sales, business development, or a related commercial leadership role.

You understand the difference between generating interest and generating revenue.

You know how to build relationships, confidently sell experiences, follow through on opportunities, and close business without making clients feel like they're being sold to.

Ideally, you bring:

- Approximately five or more years of relevant professional experience, including direct sales or revenue responsibility.
- A demonstrated track record of generating and converting business, ideally in hospitality, weddings, events, tourism, or premium experiences.
- Experience translating marketing ideas into campaigns and measurable business results.
- Strong commercial judgment, organizational skills, and comfort working with a CRM.
- Confidence managing your own priorities, making decisions, and keeping projects moving.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and a genuine appreciation for memorable hospitality.
- Comfort working in an entrepreneurial business where initiative and accountability matter.

Experience with venue sales, boutique hotels, wineries, destination hospitality,

or experiential brands would be particularly valuable.

You don't need to have worked for a company exactly like ours. In fact, we'd be surprised if you had.

The kind of person who thrives here

You're commercially ambitious without being corporate. Creative without losing sight of the numbers. Organized without needing unnecessary bureaucracy.

You enjoy the energy of building something and want the authority to contribute meaningfully to its direction.

Most importantly, you take pride in turning ideas into results.

What we're offering

- A senior-level opportunity with genuine responsibility and autonomy.
- Direct collaboration with entrepreneurial founders who bring extensive hospitality and entertainment experience.
- A flexible hybrid structure, with regular in office work in Prince Edward County organized around business needs.
- The opportunity to influence sales strategy, marketing, partnerships, and future growth.
- A distinctive portfolio of brands in the wedding, hospitality, and entertainment industries.
- Potential to grow into a broader leadership role as additional locations and business opportunities develop.

This is a hybrid position, not a fully remote role. Candidates based in Prince Edward County, Belleville, Kingston, Ottawa, Toronto, and surrounding areas are welcome to apply, provided they can accommodate regular travel to Wellington and occasional evening or weekend events.

Interested?

We'd love to hear about the business you've helped grow, the experiences you've sold, and the opportunities you've created.

Please submit your résumé along with a brief introduction telling us:

- What kind of hospitality, event, or experience-based business have you helped grow?
- What's one example of a sales result, partnership, or marketing initiative you're especially proud of?
- What interests you about helping develop Neon Chapel and Mrs. Peachum's?

Approximate or anonymized business results are absolutely fine. We don't expect you to share confidential information from previous employers.
