This role involves vehicle checks, route planning, cargo handling, and clear communication with colleagues and customers. The work helps keep shipments moving and gives customers dependable updates on delivery progress.
Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight along assigned routes, following applicable road and site safety procedures.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after trips, report defects, and keep required trip and delivery records accurate.
- Coordinate loading and unloading, using forklift equipment or other appropriate tools when needed.
- Communicate delays, delivery updates, and operational concerns promptly to dispatch and receiving teams.

Skills
Required: Practical commercial driving capability, protected freight handling, attention to detail, and clear communication are important for completing deliveries and maintaining accurate records. Preferred: Forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair skills can support efficient loading, equipment use, and basic vehicle issue awareness.minimum 1 year experience needed
