We would love to welcome someone who genuinely enjoys working in a childcare setting, takes pride in preparing wholesome, home-style meals, and brings creativity and care into the kitchen.

Position Details

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Position Type: Full-Time, 18-Month Contract

Responsibilities

- Prepare fresh, nutritious, and delicious meals and snacks according to our daycare's planned menus.
- Bring creativity and enthusiasm to meal preparation while ensuring meals are appealing and age-appropriate for young children.
- Prepare and portion meals for children of different age groups.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
- Work collaboratively with our educators and management team to ensure a smooth daily meal routine.
- Be mindful of children's dietary restrictions, allergies, and individual nutritional needs.

Qualifications & Experience





- Valid Food Handler's Certification is required.
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience is preferred.
- Experience preparing meals for children or working in a childcare setting is an asset.
- Knowledge of food safety, kitchen cleanliness, and proper food handling.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A dependable, positive, and caring attitude.
- A passion for cooking and a willingness to bring new ideas and creativity to our menus!
