Job Summary

The Transportation Manager coordinates transportation, warehouse distribution, and supply chain activities to support reliable order fulfillment. This role oversees materials movement, purchasing, procurement, freight, and demand planning while managing budgets and improving processes. You’ll work across warehouse and transportation operations to keep goods moving efficiently and help colleagues meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate freight, warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, and materials management, including collaboration with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Supervise team activities, support secure forklift operations, and align purchasing and procurement with demand plans.
- Use warehouse management systems, ERP systems, and AS400 to monitor operations, maintain accurate information, and support planning.
- Manage budgets, identify process improvement opportunities,



and lead continuous improvement efforts across transportation and warehouse workflows.

Experience

Required: Practical capabilities in transportation coordination, warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, materials management, budgeting, and process improvement, with the ability to use relevant operational systems and support safe forklift operations. Preferred: Supervising experience and familiarity with warehouse management systems, ERP systems, AS400, purchasing, procurement, supply chain, demand planning, freight, and 3PL coordination. Pay: $38.00-$38.01 per hour
