Job Summary

We are currently looking for one full-time 5 Ton Truck Driver/Warehouse Labourer to join our operations on a permanent basis out of Kamloops, BC. Support our growing commercial customer base and moving materials between our Commercial Customers and Kamloop's Depot. Picking up deposit containers from pubs/restaurants, hotels, multifamily complexes, wineries, grocery and liquor stores locations.

What We Offer

The successful candidate will begin as a Warehouse Labourer for approximately 2–3 months to learn our operations, procedures, and safety requirements before transitioning into a 5-Ton Truck Driver position.

- Wages starting at $19.50 during training, increasing to $23.00- $25.00 per hour upon transitioning to the driving role.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Transportation Manager and Depot Manager, they will start and end each delivery day from the warehouse location in Kamloops and will be required to:

- Assist with warehouse duties, sorting, and material handling.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections.




- Load and unload the truck using an electric pallet jack.
- Check all orders being delivered and/or picked up.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in an productive manner without supervision.
- Strong initiative and organizational skills.
- Write up paperwork for each stop.
- Efficiently complete all driver paperwork according to regulations.

Please note this is Weekend Work as this is our busiest time.

Requirements

- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a minimum of one year of experience transporting and delivering goods.
- Previous experience using an electric pallet jack.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform repetitive lifting of at least 40 pounds.
